What is Laffing Matterz ?

Located in the heart of downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Laffing Matterz is an intimate and luxurious 175-seat cabaret theater featuring a live, original, musical comedy revue spoofing current events – including politics, sports, celebrities and social mores.

Guests experience gourmet dining and an impressive Captain’s wine list, followed by a world-class performance featuring a multi-talented cast. Guests also have the opportunity to get to know the cast as they provide personal table service throughout the evening.

Show Packages, which include a house salad and a choice from one of our six entrees as part of your package, are priced as follows:

$49.50 on Wednesday through Friday and Sunday
$54.50 on Saturday

Tax and Gratuity are not included in these prices.

Our entrees include Tenderloin of Beef Medallions, Herb-crusted Sea Bass with Pineapple salsa, Chicken Tomaso, Wasabi Pea Crusted Salmon, and Crab-Stuffed Shrimp and a Pork Loin Medallions. Chef John Eustace prepares a nightly special and has a vegetarian dish available as well. Appetizers and desserts are available a la carte.

Laffing Matterz is housed in the historic McCrory building in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This theatre restaurant was designed by Ray Schaefer of Maverick Architectural Design in Orlando, FL. Laffing Matterz is managed by Mark and Rita Wells and Christopher Pineau of LTP Management.
