Where exactly are you located?
Laffing Matterz is in residence at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts located in the heart of the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District at 210 SW 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
Where should I park?
Garage and valet parking are available and best accessed from SW 5th Ave. off of Broward Blvd.
From I-95, exit at Broward Blvd. Travel east to 5th Ave. and turn right at SW 5th Ave.
There is garage parking immediately on your right. You may also follow straight through the light and proceed up the hill to the Broward Center Valet.
Additional parking is available along SW 2nd Street to the east. (AKA Himmershee Blvd.)
What is included in my base price?
Your base price includes a Laffing Matterz house salad, your choice of entree, the show, tax and service. You may opt to have appetizers, desserts, cocktails, wine, etc.. A check for these items will be presented at the end of your evening.
Do you have a kid's menu?
Some of the material performed at Laffing Matterz may be considered inappropriate for children. For this reason we do not offer a children's menu.
Do you have group rates?
We have special packages for groups of 10 to 185. For more information, please contact the Broward Center Box office at 954-462-0222.
Is Laffing Matterz available for other functions?
Absolutely! Laffing Matterz is the perfect place for corporate events, social functions, holiday parties, birthday parties, weddings, bachelorett parties, business meetings, etc. Contact rita@laffingmatterz.com for additional information.
Laffing Matterz is available most days, and most dark nights.

Do you have a dress code?
This is South Florida and many of our guests are here on vacation. We're not going to tell you what you may or may not wear, but we might stare a little if you come in bathing attire. Dress for a night out, but don't feel like you have to go all out, (unless you want to, of course).

Absolutely. Speak with the Broward Center Box office for details.
Can I bring my own birthday cake?
You are welcome to bring your own cake. However, for holding, presenting, plating and serving your cake, Laffing Matterz will charge $2 per person.
What types of payment do you accept?
Laffing Matterz accepts, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and of course, cold, hard cash.
Does the cast ever travel for private event?
Absolutely! We have begun booking our show for off-site events when available. Please contact Rita Wells via e-mail at rita@laffingmatterz.com with any interest.
Is there a minimum age requirement
You do not have to be 21 to attend Laffing Matterz, however, we do recommend that parents be aware that some of our material may not be suitable for children. Consider our show to be rated PG_13. Of course, you must be 21 to consume alcohol.
How long is an evening at Laffing Matter?
The Laffing Matterz experience, including dinner and show usually lasts about 3 hours. The first hour and a half in dedicated to your food service and you will enjoy the show during the second half of the evening.
